Scrub the timeline

Scrubbing refers to manually scrolling through an animation, forward and backward, previewing your animation, pausing where you like in case you want to add a keyframe.

To scrub the timeline

  1. Select the timeline from the Storyboard picker by clicking the Open a Storyboard button Cc295169.d4531c86-5048-481c-a1ca-29af202d28e7(en-us,Expression.10).png under Objects and Timeline and then selecting a storyboard.

  2. Click and drag the playhead Cc295169.5626c9eb-40bb-450a-9ca1-3678e5abe429(en-us,Expression.10).png as you want, forward or backward.

    As you drag the playhead, you will see the animation play out on the artboard.
