What inspires you?
Anything wildly creative, original, and funny, from visual art to music to literature to whatever.

How did you choose to work on this team with this product?
I have a background in writing for digital video and graphic design products, so I was naturally attracted to what Expression had to offer.

What's your favorite feature? Why?
In Encoder, I love Live Broadcasting, primarily for the fact that you can produce a pretty robust video production, complete with live and file-based sources pretty much all by yourself, and then stream it live to other users. It's got the potential of being a one-person production tool.

How long have you worked on Expression?
It'll be 5 years in December.

What does your typical workday look like?
Every day, I do varied amounts of writing, reading, talking with developers and testers, and working with software, from the products I write for, to the tools that I use. I love editors!

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I'm actually a writer for real, so I spend plenty of time doing that, as well as creating music and reading. Also, I have two teenagers, so they keep me fairly busy.

Anything else you'd like to share with the community?
I'm lucky to work with such talented, dedicated, and intelligent people here on the Expression team. I learn a lot on a reqular basis, so much so that coming to work is like taking a class, every day.
