Hello Everyone,It’s going to be an exciting week for Expression at Internet Week New York. This morning during his keynote, Bill Buxton formally announced the availability of Expression Studio 4. The announcement was followed with live product demonstrations and customers on stage presenting how these products have enabled innovative new capabilities. For the duration of Internet Week, we will have a 1500 square foot Expression-branded attendee interaction area in the Headquarters Pavilion. Additionally Expression is sponsoring the 14th Annual Webby Awards Gala—the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet—that will take place on June 14th. If you miss us this week in New York, visit our launch event page to view the keynote, demos, and presentations. Also as part of launch today, we kicked off a design contest to digitally recreate top-selling watches from Ball Watch USA in Silverlight, using Blend 4. The contest runs through August 5 with the grand prize winner receiving a Ball Watch (retail value of $3,399)! Download the Expression Studio 4 trial and don’t forget the self-paced Expression Blend and Silverlight training materials found on .toolbox to get you started—and keep an eye out for OnRamp, coming soon! And in case you need additional inspiration, we’ve expanded the Expression Gallery to include a Pattern Library, add-ins and extensions for Expression Web and Expression Encoder, and more!
